joining us here live is tara setmayer, and maria cardona and ben ferguson, the host of the ben ferguson show. good morning. we have done a lot on the democratic race. hopefully maybe while we're talking, we will get an official delegation. let's talk about the one winner we know for sure, ben ferguson, that is ted cruz. i suppose there is one loser, he would not like me saying that, that is donald trump. >> it will be very weird moving forward to see how donald trump deals with this. it will be interesting to see where the money goes. you will see a lot of small donors continue to really pour in to ted cruz. the big question is the big checks that are going to people like jeb bush. where will they go? i think marco rubio is going to be the person getting this. i think the big take away is this, everyone was expecting that donald trump would win this. then the question of how do you stop him? are you able to stop him when he is over 40% in the national poll. the national poll doesn't matter anymore. you have three viable candidates. you may have a one with kasich in new hampshire. we don

so bernie sanders will not run out of money, maria cardona. so how will the clinton campaign pivot and take him on in new hampshire, or is the clinton campaign going to pivot? tell me, we have a town hall, hillary clinton walks on the stage and says what? >> she says that she hopes that she will earn every vote in new hampshire and she will focus on the message that she has focused on up until now which is how she is the one going to be best prepared and will fight the hardest for middle class voters. for those who have been left out. and that she is the one who has the best experience and knows how to do the job from day one. >> but that is not what she has been saying that brought it to a statistical tie -- >> but it says she has won the majority, and is still ahead by quite a large margin. will that still be the case, after tonight we'll see. but i think what i was talking about earlier, again, she is at her best when she is competing hard for this. it is better for the democratic party when there are two out there with messages that are re

tara setmayer and sally kohn along with ben ferguson and maria cardona. the iowa democratic party saying it was a close contact with robust turnout. what does that tell you about engagement in this campaign? >> it is fascinating since the republicans had a turnout vote of 125,000. this time up to 185,000 or so. people thought if there was more turnout, trump would win resoundi resoundingly. it goes back to the point that organization matters. ted cruz had 12,000 volunteers to get the cruz crew. they were organized on the ground. that matters in iowa. the fact that the donald trump campaign had virtually no organization on the ground. it is reported they did not pay for the infrastructure. volunteers did not know where to go or what to tell the supporters which precincts to go. that did not help donald trump. i think it is another part of the story here that it was ted cruz who benefitted. possibly marco rubio. ted cruz benefitted from the record turnout. >> no one can take away that trump can fill a room or stadium. that doesn't mean though that you have
