in entertainment, a fixture from the tarzan movies in the 1930s has died. cheetah, the chimpanzee appeared in the movies which starred johnny wise muller from 1932 to 1934. he was only a year old when he became a star. after wisemuller died, a florida animal sanctuary cared for cheetah. they got him from the actor's estate. cheetah was 80 years old. >> the box office will go down as a bust for 2011. with only a few days left until the new year, "the new york times" reports movie ticket revenue in the united states is $10 billion for last year. that's $500 million behind the previous year. experts blame a drop in the economy and too many films with not enough star power is what they say. >>> van halen's original lead singer david lee roth returned to the band for a tour next year. you may remember he first left the band in 1985 then briefly came back in 1996 and another bitter feud and he was gone again but now with the band's 40th anniversary approaching, he is back. tickets go on sale january 10th. the concert date and the venues haven't been released yet.
