this is in denton ---- north of dallas. fire crews carried the six children to a boat nearby. the boat was on a trailer and hitched to a truck. the bus and the truck drove out of the water and onto dry land. the children got on another bus and went on to school. a driver is cooperating with state police after they say she hit and killed a new jersey state trooper. this story first broke this morning during wavy news 10 today. investigators say 31-year-old trooper sean cullen was at the scene of a car crash and fire on the interstate last night --- when a passing car hit him. trooper cullen died at the hospital this morning. cullen had been a trooper for about two years. state police are still have been filed. a close call caught on tape during a traffic stop in michigan. a driver shot at a police officer. "what's up man?" gunshots this happened saturday. after the driver fired a gun --- he took off --- and sparked a high-speed chase through a neighborhood. officers eventually arrested the driver. the 21-year-old suspect faces a long list of charges including attempted murder.
