i'm meteorologist eric fisher for cbs news. have a great holiday. >>> in tennessee, a sixth child has died from injuries received in a school bus crash. ve hospitalized. police are trying to figure out why the bus was on the wrong road and they have received the toxicology report on the driver. manuel bojorquez reports. >> reporter: police announced they have eliminated one possible reason johnthony walker lost control of the school bus on monday. chattanooga police sergeant austin garrett. >> we received toxicology reports back today from the tennessee bureau of investigation that shows no trace of alcohol or drugs in the driver's system. >> reporter: the ntsb said it was looking into why walker was not driving on a designated bus manslaughter charges while investigators review video and black box recordings from the bus and look into other possible factors like excessive speed. investigators are also looking into claims some parents had complained about walker's driving in the past. while he has no previous criminal history,
eric fisher, our chief meteorologist at cbs in boston, wbz, eric, what is coming next? >> scott, the winds will continue to crank. lake effect machine going through overnight into tomorrow. some additional snowfall. some towns will pass 30 inches of snow from the first big lake effect event of the year. tomorrow watching a developing storm in the middle of country. that will bring rain to chicago midweek. wintry mix across the upper midwest. and a wintry mix, in the northeast. as we head into thanksgiving itself. the stormiest part of the country, the pacific north west. round of rain swinging into washington state, oregon, northern california. one to three feet of mountain snow expected here and windy conditions at the coastline. that will go through friday. but look at our coast to coast on thanksgiving day. dry, mostly mild across the southern tier states. light, wintery mix, moving through the northeast. stormiest across the pacific northwest. not a major storm on thanksgiving day, scott, a few pockets here and there. >> eric fisher, wbz, thank you. possible strike.
