francis catholic school students say they were notified about the arrest of the day care teacher next door. st. francis early learning center is part of the church property and rund by the archdiocese of philadelphia. the archdiocese says michael barbee wasn't a teacher but he had been work with toddlers since 2015. police say he sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl inside his toddler classroom last week. police say the assault happened as other children were down for a nap. the assault came to light when the child told a parent, mr. michael had hurt her. barbee leads in yeadon. the 33-year-old sources say has worked in two other day care centers since 2005. tonight barbee is charged with a number of crimes, including sexual assault of a child. again, we've learned that investigators in delaware county are also taking a look at this case. tonight barbee is being held in montgomery county prison on more than $700,000 bail. deanna durante, nbc10 news. >>> new at 5:00, a south jersey police officer is in jail accused of beating his girlfriend so badly, she ended up in the hospital. atlan
