((mauricio marin)) after property managers of the house house who wasn't supposed to be there....they came here to check it out. it ulimtately led to a shooting leaving the suspect dead. police say when the man and woman property managers arrived they went into the back yard first. they told police they found a black man in his 20's. that's when a fight broke out between both men. police say the homeowner got socked in the face several times. and a dog with him at the time did as well. so the male property manager drew a gun and shot the suspect during the fight. the suspect was taken to the hospital where he died. right now police have the man and woman re-creating the scenario. detectives are also talking with neighbors to see if they heard or saw something. police are working to see if the suspect was squatting at the house or in the middle of

((paula francis)) and i'm paula francis. mauricio marin has been on the scene since this story first broke. he joins us now live near twain ((mauricio marin)) paula...dave...go od afternoon. police have this street taped off as they investigate. we've learned an alleged burglary suspect was shot and killed by someone inside the home at the time. details are limited at this point, but metro police were able to confirm the report of a burglary at a home here on viking. homicide detectives and c-s-i is now on scene looking for evidence. metro police say at some point, a people inside the house...possibly a realtor or property manager ended up in a struggle with the suspect that reportedly broke into the home. the suspect was then shot by the person inside the residence... medical treatment was given at the scene before the suspect was rushed to the hospital... and ultimately passed away.
