the new hampshire g.o.p. is just one of several groups calling on democratic super delegates to follow the will of the people. josh mcelveen is here to explain. josh: so bernie sanders lost iowa by the slimmest of marriage ins, he clobbered hillary clinton in new hampshire by 22 points. but ultimately it's the democratic delegates who will choose their nominee and right now hillary clinton has a big advantage over sanders regardless of what the voters have to say. it's not a lot of common ground between new hampshire republicans and self described democratic socialist bernie sanders. but on this point the nhgop has the store's back in the form of an online petition. >> there's nothing fair or democratic about a system where bernie sanders beats hillary clinton by over 20 points and leaves our state with the same number of delegates. josh: that's because unlike the republican party democrats are party officials or leaders who each have muscle equal to 10,000 ballots in new hampshire, but are not bound by elect

josh is standing by with a closer look at the conditions in southern new hampshire. josh? reporter: yes, it's been pouring buckets here in salem. as you can probably hear and see, i'm having trouble controlling the umbrella as the winds are very strong. highs as 35 miles per hour in the salem area, and the wind i is, we're getting a strong gust right now, the rain coming down heavily as well. let's take a look at the doppler radar. we'll start with a wide shot, showing you that back edge that mike was talking about that's been pushing through all of new england basically southwest to northeast. we'll show you how it's moving through, and that back end coming up to where i am in the salem area. although the rain is coming down heavily where i am, we're going to see the back end moving through, and it moves from west to northeast basically, so the eastern parts of the state last. we'll have more in a few minutes. wmur. back to you. jennifer: go get dry, thank you. and as far as the roads go at this hour, the main roads pretty much clear of snow and ice, but with all of this

we saw sunshine in eastern new hampshire and cloudy to partly sunny skies. a cold front now bringing clouds to all for a while and the chance of a few snow showers. they are possible anywhere but the other side of it is much colder air rushing on in. it doesn' t last all that long. it bottoms out and then we get side of it. the other side of the nation is where we look to find system that will bring the warmer air to us and also brings the chance of a few rain and snow showers. the cold front rose through -- rolls through tonight and both days are fairly calm. partly sunny skies tomorrow and mostly sunny on friday with high-pressure overhead. in the wind starts to turn more out of the south and southwest as this system approaches and brings with it a warm front friday night into saturday morning. maybe an inch were two and as the warm front crosses the state the could be random rain and maybe an inch short two. it will be right along the borderline temperatures. that pulls away pretty early but more is rotating in behind that warm front. as those temperature
