the exception may be some pockets across outer route 2 up into southern new hampshire. generally speaking, an inch or two of snow inland. a coating to an inch along the coastline. so watch for these bursts to come on in. you get a heavy enough burst. travel weather today, midwest out to the west coast is quiet. all the action down into the deep south. this is the second wave of low pressure that we're tracking for tomorrow and for thursday morning itself. as this cuts through the ohio valley, this warm front will lift on through. once that lifts on through, forget about the snow and cold. we're talking about the temperatures well into the mid to upper 50s on a thursday. this will also allow for a soaking rain to work in beginning as early as wednesday evening, wednesday night and into early thursday morning. so temperature profile today jumping up into the upper to 30s to near 40. marginal at the coastline. temperatures mid-30s. that's why it will be tougher for it to stick along the roadways. but you get north and west of 95, 31, 32, 33. there may be a brief window bet

that should be about it into interior southern new hampshire. not a big storm for us. coating to an inch across eastern mass. through worcester counts, 1s, 2s i'm and 3s. i think a lot of us inside 495 will be in that coating to one. maybe 1 and a half range between 95 and 495. icy glaze of freezing rain a possibility for a little while overnight between 11:00 and 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. then i think this area will shrink as we get into the morning commute. overall travel conditions today even if you have snowflakes here by 6:00 p.m. it will melt on contact on the road. burst of snow steadier at times i think we could get that reduced visibility and reduced road conditions here later on and midnight. here's a secondary area of low pressure that we have to track in here. this will work in as we get into wednesday into thursday morning this will bring downpours and gusty winds in here by thursday morning. i will have to keep an eye on that. heaviest of the rain will fall tomorrow late in the day tomorrow night and into thursday morning itself. 1-2 inches of rain in

tyngsborough, hudson, new hampshire, hampton, new hampshire, over the portsmouth, this is where we're at 31, 32 degrees, and there are still areas of freezing drizzle and freezing rain. at that stage, because the ground has been warm the last few day, thinking the main road is okay, it's the untreated roads, the secondary roads, the driveways, the sidewalks, you may be slipping on here. randolph 39, foxborough at 31 degrees. we don't have freezing issues down across the cape. your temperatures will be closer to 50 this afternoon. we do have a few slick spots north and west of 495 this morning. i think this problem will leave us late morning, early afternoon. overall again, most of the main roads okay. it's not like we had a tremendous amount of snow and ice and cold weather proceeding this freezing rain event. scattered showers and drizzle out there. tonight as this moisture moves up the coastline that. will renew the chance for downpours and gusty winds. take a look across the country. it's a big player across portions of the deep south. severe weather continuing across florida this
