"action news" reporter annie mccormick is live at the sharon hill police station. she fills us in on what exactly happened here. good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tam. and we're outside of sharon hill police but we're not getting much information from the police department at this time. now, it was their officers that did respond to the domestic disturbance and one of their officers that was injured, it was an officer from the county that sources say was the one that fired the shot that seriously hurt the suspect. well, take a look at this video. this is video from last night. it unfolded on barker avenue near chester pike in sharon hill. it was just before 8:00 p.m. last night. now, officers had already been called to this home earlier in the week dealing with a mental health patient on the block. this time, though, while responding to a domestic disturbance in the home, two sharon hill police officers arrived none one would answer. police barged down the door. it was then that the suspect allegedly lunged at the officers with a butcher knife. now, i

"action news" reporter annie mccormick is live in front of the macy's with these new developments. annie. >> reporter: and, matt, police made that arrest late last night. they say that the woman who was being questioned by security here was in the custody of security when she left her young child behind here in the store. well, take a look at the video -- at this mug shot rather. this is 27-year-old mahogany terry. according to police, macy's security apprehended terry just after 6:00 p.m. yesterday when they suspect they had she was shoplifting here at the macy's in center city. now, they estimate she stole about $1,400 in merchandise with her four-year-old daughter at her side. now, when they handcuffed her in the loss prevention room, she managed to get out of her handcuffs and that is when she fled leaving that little girl behind in the store all by herself. well, back out here live philadelphia police department was notified, so was the department of human services. that little girl, though, we can tell you now is with other relatives. now, she was taken -- the suspect was tak

annie mccormick is live at police headquarters with the update. >> reporter: rick, that is right they identified the victim as maurice addsign. they have the suspect in custody and he is expected to be charged later today. >> there was seven shots fired and he was shot four times. >> eight police officers responded to 18th and pine after reports of a shooting wednesday night. they found 41-year-old maurice addsite lying on the ground, he was rushed to presbyterian hospital and was pronounced dead later. officers captured the suspect immediately after the crime. >> seconds. right after the shooting we got flash information there was a male with a red hoody fleeing on foot and uniformed officers saw him and took him into custody to the homicide unit. >> reporter: they are piecing together why he became the target. there are real time cameras in the area and local surveillance cameras from businesses in the area too. >> we are talking to family and friends and trying to find out what he was into and what this was about but right now we don't know. >> and that includes finding out the rel

let's go over to annie mccormick in olney with the latest. good morning, tam, you're right, that may have been a short police pursuit, but it left a lot of damage behind, in fact the driver of the stolen vehicle barreled through this intersection at 6th and fisher, you can see debris still left in the rooted way. earlier this morning we were showing you the damaged cars, several parked cars were hit. take a look at the video. police say this started around 13th and rock handle when -- rok land when the suspect took the pizza delivery man's car. police were near the area. the victim called for help and a short pursuit happened. during the short chase, the stolen vehicle collided with this red vehicle injuring a woman inside. then the stolen car didn't stop. it continued to the intersection of 6th and fisher on this block several parked cars became damaged as a result of the chase. the police caught him and arrested him. it is unclear how many charges the suspect will face at this time. the woman in the red car is okay, she was taken to the hos

annie mccormick is live at the scene of the crash at 6th and fisher avenue. annie? >> reporter: and matt, this is the block where several parked cars were hit badly damaged. this is a vehicle that looks like it got the brunt of it. you can see the side is almost all taken out. there's debris all over the roadway for people who have no idea what happened that are driving through at this time. this is one of three cars that did get hit. police believed it began at 13th and rock handle where they believe the -- rockland, the suspect was trying to rob a pizza delivery man. he stole his car that light colored sable that's badly damaged. during a short chase, the stolen vehicle collided with the red vehicle you can see injuring a woman inside. that happened at the intersection of 6th abbey -- and fisher. and then the stolen car kept going and it hit several parked cars. then the car did stop after the police pursuit police did get the suspect out of the vehicle and they able to arrest him. back out here live, the woman in the red vehicle was transported to the hospital. s

annie mccormick is live in atlantic city with more on the coastal concern. >> reporter: allalready in the t hour we have seen a difference, wind gusts are picking up at it is starting to rain. there's a coastal flood advisory in effect beginning early this morning. overnight therein heavy winds of this is video from the last big storm that we had. the reason why a coastal flood advisory is a concern a lot of people had flooding issues during the last storm. a costal flood watch is in effect monday night into tuesday afternoon. light snow showers are expected this morning. now high tide is around 6:30 a.m. that could have an impact on flooding. this could impact roadway flooding especially during high tide times. it makes conditions for the possibility of minor tidal flooding. back out here live, officials the last time put a major amount of things in place to try to prevent the flooding on the roads that usually get it even during minor flooding times. since there's damage in these areas they will make efforts to make it better on the roads that saw damage two weeks ago. annie mccormi

annie mccormick is watching the roads in university city. . let's get you started with david murphy outside in the elements and karen rogers has traffic. >> reporter: we are starting out with wet snow as expected across the immediate region. if you were watching the forecast for the last day and a half you could see we were pushing the precipitation farther to the west, it did make it into the lehigh valley now it's pushing toward the coast. in philadelphia, the heaviest stuff appears to be pushing to the east. you see the lavender matt and tam were pointing out over burlington county and parts of philadelphia and south jersey and northern camden county. that's the heavier stuff. mostly wet roads beneath this, but we have slushy developing on secondary and side roads and sidewalks, as well. the snow is pushing to the coast in a lot of spots. temperatures are above freezing, so, again, mostly wet roads. some spots are picking up the slush, especially as the snow gets heavier. we're closer to the freezing mark in millville and atlantic city. you
