marks, it's not a surprise, we all expected as of this morning that it might be sarah palin. how significant do you think it is? >> you know, it's important for donald trump in this respect. it allows him to dominate news coverage. you and i are talking about it, we'll probably be talking about this news over the next 24 hours or so. it also allows him to strengthen his bona fides with conservatives. a few months ago, conservatives were saying donald trump is a democrat, he's not conservative enough. having sarah palin stand next to you erases some of those doubts. so that's good news for donald trump. does this change voters' minds in iowa? that i don't know. sarah palin really hasn't been a significant political figure in this presidential campaign or even in the last couple of years or so. she certainly played a big role as the vice presidential running mate in 2008. a big endorser in 2010, but has since dropped off the political stage. but i would say this about sarah palin. she was essentially donald trump before donald trump. having a public, political figure who fires
