((chris maathuis)) so a nice win by the rebels... even without jones, who's still nursing that injury. rebels are busing home and will then prepare for saturday's game at arizona state. each year nascar rolls into las vegas for its champions week... but that week is slowly being whittled down to just a few days. but some kids enjoyed a little fan fest with nascar's champion jimmie johnson. the 7 time nascar champ visited doral academy today and as you can imagine, the kids were wide-eyed and clinging to every word. they even made him feel welcome with their own cars... made from scratch. jimmie johnson/nascar champ: "it is a different feeling in way you feel responsible to comment perfectly i can only imagine some of these kids are huge race fans and to have us talking to them, they're taking us word for word... right spot
